The Dance 4/4/95
Glittering diamonds set in a painted ceiling
A polished floor where I now rest
The dancing hall, the place of dreams
A world inside of that our own
The dance we do is everything
Of you I dream myself to wake
The dance I see is special to me
The part that fits to make the whole
Millions of colors surrounding me
Drowning in fluency for all around
See the escapade put on about
Outside I look upon the interior
What we see is imagery
Gorgeous as it is to me
Delve we must as dancing sure
To find what we are seeking out
The great expanse of room unfolds
As we are searching in each other
A table then we finally meet
And spend the rest of eternity
The dance we do is everything
Of you I dream myself to wake
The dance see is special to me
The part that fits to make us whole
